The Bella Concrete Team will be there by your side from start to finish.  We know you are investing your time and money with us so we will communicate the process to you, the homeowner.  From the initial site visit to the final concrete cuts and seal, we will be there to help you.

Step 1: Site Visit
This is the initial step to having your concrete project done.  A Bella Representative will come to your home and discuss what your ideas are and answer any questions you may have. At this point the Bella representative will also take measurements, provide details and pricing on the project, and if terms are agreed on a tentative start date will be determined.

Step 2: Breaking ground/excavation
On the scheduled start day, our crew and machines will come to start the construction.  At this point, we will excavate the site to make sure we have enough space to form the site and lay the concrete.  At this stage would also grade the area for proper run off.

Step 3:  Forming the area
In this step we shape and outline the project with forming material, lay stone down, then compact it.  The stone is the foundation for the concrete so it maintains its strength and integrity for many years.

Step 4:  Laying the concrete
This is the process where the concrete is brought in by concrete trucks and/or machines.  The concrete is then laid out in between the forms that were previous set.   Prior to pouring the concrete, we lay either rebar or wire mesh to further maintain the strength of the concrete.

 Step 5: “Finishing” the concrete
Once the concrete has been put down, it’s time for our concrete finishers to work the concrete and bring the look you want whether that’s broom finish, stamped, or exposed aggregate.

Step 6: Stripping the forms and cutting the concrete
This is the final step of construction.  The day after laying and finishing the concrete, the crew will come back to take the forms off and cut the concrete.  Cutting the concrete is crucial to avoid any major cracks in the future.  This is also the step where any little touch ups need to be made such as spray and sealing the concrete (depending on the finish), power washing, parging, etc

Step 7: The Follow up
This final step of construction is the follow up.  Just because the construction is over, doesn’t mean our job is done.  We will contact you for a quick follow up and make sure you are happy with the project.  This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and for the contractor to go over any care and maintenance tips to keep your concrete job last for many years to come.  .

So from start to finish, we will be there with you. Book today and take the first step…
